Our Full pads are sold as Traditional Pad (pictured above a full traditional pad with no options. This pad is 80% pressed wool felt 1/2” thick with chestnut coloured leather. Full pads are sold as Traditional or Combination Pads using either the softer 100% 1/2” thick light grey wool or the firmer 80% wool dark grey 1/2” thick felt. They are sold basic and you add your desired options to suit you. All options are listed below .Check out photos for the pad that suits you and your horse. . Leather colours, fleece colours, felt types to suit you and your horse. Our pads are custom or semi custom to suit you your horse and your budget. Leather colours and wool colours may vary as they are natural products

Pictured above is a Combination pad with 100% pressed wool felt 1/2” thick felt under the saddle and under the flaps 55% wool 3/8” thick felt for a closer feel. This pad has black leather and has no extra options. Wool felt is concussion absorbing, antibacterial, does not absorb odors, easy to care for just to name a few as well as being a natural product. Leather colours and wool colours may vary as they are natural products

Standard Traditional or Combination Full Pads

Standard Traditional Pads and Standard Combination full pads are available in Extra Small, Small, Medium, Large and Extra Large Sizes. . Your choice of leather colour (black,white, chestnut or brown). All Standard Full Pads have a leather seam and a girth guard. These Pads are available in all wool types Shims can be added using velcro. Standard full Pads can be upgraded to custom full pads for an extra $25. Options are extra and are listed below.

Any Pad Can be shimmed

Shims come in front or rear with velcro back which can be attached to any pad and moved around to get the best fit for your horse. All shims sold as pairs.

Standard Full Pad Measurements (Sizing is Approximate to most saddles, Measure your saddle to pick the best fit) Measurements are from the outside edges of the pad. Add 1/2” when adding fleece.

Which Wool Felt Pad Suits You & Your Horses Needs

If you Decide on a Full Pad. Will your Pad be Our standard size or fully Custom

When choosing your full pad decide what type of wool you prefer. Our 80% Dark Grey wool felt which is firmer. A great choice for the rider with several horses ro spends several hours in the saddle.

Or our softer 100% wool felt that is a light grey colour. This felt shapes and follows the contours of your horses back giving support with a softer feel.

Both types of felt we use are 1/2 inch thick giving support and protection without intefereing with your saddle fit.

Leather Colours

If you Decide on a Full Pad. Will your Pad be Our standard size or fully Custom

After you have decided of your felt there are several other options you need to consider. Which leather colour you prefer. Brown, Black, chestnut or white. We may have several shades of each colour. Ask us if you have a preference.

Next choose your pad type. Traditional pad. The pad pictured ablove is a traditional pad with options including white sherpa fleece, High wither option and a girth strap.

Soft Light Grey 100% 1/2” Wool Felt Natural Wool Fleece

Above pictured is our Combination Full pad which is a combination of one of our 2 wool types and a thinner 3/8" thick wool under the saddle flap for a closer feel. The combination pad pictured is a 100% wool felt with brown leather and natural wool fleece

Does your horse need the high wither option?

An example of one our pads with the high wither option. Adding an inch of wool height at the front of the pad tapering down to wards the back. Also adding a 1/2” wider leather seam.

Unique Shaped Custom Pads

Custom Pads - Pads with Unique shapes and coloured patterns sewn onto the felt with trim can be made in many styles. ex. Dragon wing and flame . They have felt backing the 3/8" or the !/2 " thick wool felt backing. They are custom to fit your saddle size. Most colours of top covering are available on request.. These pads include your wool felt backing, the one colour material top covering, leather spine and stirrup leather protector and one colour nylon trim. Check out the photos

Unique Shaped Custom Pad using 3/8" Black 25% Wool Felt as Backing

This price is for a pad 30" from pommel to the back of the saddle pad and 28" deep from pommel to the bottom of the pad under the flap. If you need a pad larger than this prices increases $50 for every 6 inches larger length and depth.

Pad includes one colour material covering, one colour trim, leather spine and nylon trim. Other optiions may be subject to further price increases.
